BON bans several artists including 2face, D'banj, Wizkid, Olamide, Iyanya, because of COSON
Well, it seems IBAN and BON have had enough. Two days ago, they announced the ban of all Nigerian artists registered with COSON. Meaning that they ordered the immediate stop to the airing of songs of artists who are COSON members.
The artists include 2face Idibia, D'banj, Onyeka Onwenu, Iyanya, Banky W, Flavour, Ice Prince, Dr Sid, Olamide, 9ice, M.I, eLDee, Ruggedman, Wizkid, Asa, Waje, Omawumi and several others.

The 10 Hottest Artists in Nigeria By (Not Just Ok)
The list below is a True, undiluted run down of the Artists that shaped, defined and led music among Nigerian consumers in the past year.
10. Burna Boy
Like To Party is a testament that you can catch a hit record without following the typical music format that rules the airwaves in Nigeria. Burna Boy appeared to have come from nowhere after “Like To Party” became an overwhelming hit all over Lagos and most parts of Nigeria, but the reality is that he has been dropping music since 2011 and finally caught his biggest hit in 2012. Burna then went on to deliver a quality video for not just his first single off the L.I.F.E album but for his other strong and widely accepted singles such as Tonight and Run My Race which were produced by Aristokrat in-house producer LeriQ.Monday, 29 July 2013
Tiwa Savage: “I Compete Only With Men In Nigeria’s Music Industry”
When asked on this week’s edition of Rubbin’ Minds, who she considered the biggest threat to Tiwa Savage amongst the female vocalists, she replied, “none actually.”
“In my head the people I compete against are the male artistes” she stated boldly and further adding that “for me I look at the bigger picture fortunately.”
“I look at people like Wizkid, Iyanya, Tuface, D’banj, Ice Prince. They are getting MOBOs, BET awards, MTVs, so I’m like I’m coming for you guys” she stated.
