Late MKO Abiola Wife, Doyin Arrested For Fraud

Former Managing Director of the defunct Concord Newspapers, Dr. Doyin Abiola has been arraigned before the Federal High Court, Lagos, for fraud.
A statement signed by Police Public Relations Officer DSP Ngozi Isintume-Agu said that the Financial Malpractices Investigation Unit (FMIU) of Special Fraud Unit (SFU) said that between 2006 and 2008, as a Director of the Integrated Microfinance Bank, Dr. Abiola granted to herself without collateral and approval from the Management, the sum of N26,611,246.48.
Dr. Abiola, of 42/46 Moshood Abiola Crescent, Ikeja, Lagos, and wife of the late Chief Moshood Abiola, is one of four Managing Directors or Directors of Integrated Microfinance Bank (IMFB) located at 6A Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, who were arrested and charged by the SFU.

The former music partners were spotted looking very friendly at Ice
Prince's FOZ album launch on Saturday November 23rd. Imagine if these
two got back together. But I hear they are working on new music
together.

D’Banj and his former producer and partner, Don Jazzy, has told
Amenbovillage.Net that times have changed and the two men are back
together as good friends and have decided to work together. Since
separating from each other, D’banj has not released any song that is as
strong and with National appeal as it used to be when Don Jazzy was his
producer. Also, Don Jazzy on his part has not been able to produce any
hit with his new crew like it used to be when D’Banj was around. So,
don’t be surprised if you hear a new hit song from D’banj and Don Jazzy
any time soon. The good days are back for lovers of good music in Naija
and I hear the atmosphere is charged to deliver something that would be
worth the long breaks.

Angola Government reportedly bans Islam

how can Angola do this? If reports are to be believed then the Southern
African country has become the first country in the world to ban the
Islamic religion. According to multiple reports coming from Angola,

The
seven aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have
announced their decision to merge with the All Progressives Congress
(APC) in the afternoon of November 26, 2013, Tuesday.
The meeting commenced at 9.30 a.m. at Kano Governor’s Lodge. It was the continuation of the meeting which ended last midnight, at about 12.30 a.m.
The governors declared their decision was aimed at rescuing the country.
Alhaji Abubakar Baraje, the former Acting National Chairman of the PDP, announced the decision after the meeting, at about 11.46 a.m., Tuesday.
