Egyptian Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is Time magazine's 2013 "person of the year," coming in first place in a poll conducted by the magazine that asked its readers to choose from a list of the world's most influential, official news agency MENA reported.
Sisi received 26.2 percent of the votes followed by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan with 20.8 percent, then in the third place came the pop singer Miley Cyrus with 16.3 percent.
