The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton did something most women in the limelight don't usually do. She appeared in public just a day after giving birth and showed off her post childbirth body...with a bump still visible for the world to see, unlike many celebrity women who hide after giving birth and appear a few weeks later with a flat stomach, looking fit and flawless.

Star magazine claims the pic on their cover is the first photo of Kim K since she gave birth on June 15th. (Not sure I believe it though) But Kim hasn't made a public appearance since welcoming baby North and many believe she wants to shed the baby weight and look perfect again before appearing in public.

Kate has shown the world what most women look like after giving birth, a more realistic image of a post baby body...and not the lightning-speed weight loss most Hollywood celebs experience after child birth.

Brave Cassidy Hooper, 17, is excitedly preparing for complicated surgery at the end of the month which will hopefully attach a nose to her face.

Born with no eyes and no nose, the teen from Charlotte, North Carolina, will undergo an operation on July 31st to have a bone removed from her rib cage and attached to her forehead - forming a bridge for her new nose.

Having already gone through preparatory surgery in June that has left her with a flap of skin where her nose will be, the high-school senior is even looking forward to starting her first job at the Library for the Blind in Raleigh and taking her own solo commute.

Women Affairs Minister Urges Senate To Delete Controversial ‘Child Marriage’ Clause

Hajiya Zainab Maina, Minister of Women Affairs, has called on the Senate to revisit the controversial Section 29 (4)(b) of the 1999 Constitution and delete it in its entirety due to its discriminatory nature.

The clause, which states “Any woman who is married shall be deemed to be of full age,” promotes gender inequality and can make an underage married girl to be charged under criminal law, she said.
Briefing journalists on constitution review matters in Abuja yesterday, Maina emphasised that it was necessary to clear the air on what the issues really were.
