Samsung Galaxy Grand hits Nigeria

Samsung Electronics, the world’s largest maker of mobile handsets, has rolled out its highly anticipated Galaxy Grand smartphone in Nigeria, adding a new Galaxy device to its expanding range of products in this category. The device premiered in Africa at Samsung Ambassador, Banky W’s ‘R&BW the Grand Love Project’ album launch in Lagos, after a very successful pre-order campaign.
Priced at N65,000, the 5-inch display, smart, dual-SIM Galaxy Grand combines the features of Samsung’s game-changing Galaxy S III and the revolutionary Galaxy Note II, which were released by the manufacturing giant last year. Pistorius bail hearing under way

The Pretoria Magistrate's Court resumed shortly after 14:30 on Friday for a ruling on whether paralaympian Oscar Pistorius would be granted bail.
Pistorius has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on 14 February. In an affidavit he denied it.

US security firm alleges massive hacking by Chinese military unit

Cyberattacks that stole information from 141 targets in the U.S. and other countries have been traced to a Chinese military unit in a drab office building in the outskirts of Shanghai, a U.S. security firm alleged Tuesday. China dismissed the report as `'groundless."

Explosion rocks Lagos, kills 1

ONE  person was,  on Monday morning,  killed and another injured as an improvised explosive device exploded under the New Bridge between Awuwo Odofin and FESTAC Town in Lagos State.

The incident, which reportedly occurred around 11.00 a.m, created serious among residents of the river bank and Amuwo Odofin community, following the devastating effect of the explosion.




India, UK to begin talks on civil nuclear pact
