Miley never meant to start a war . . . or did she? After Sinead O’Connor’s open letter to Miley, the ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer is firing back!
Sinead O’Connor penned an open letter to Miley Cyrus expressing concern and saying she “was being prostituted.” So, Miley took it upon herself to basically call her crazy, and include a jab at Sinead’s famous Saturday Night Live performance back in 1992 — just two days before she hits the SNL stage.Miley Cyrus Fires Back At Sinead O’Connor
After reading Miley’s interview in Rolling Stone, in which she mentioned that Sinead’s look in “Nothing Compares” inspired Miley’s “Wrecking Ball” video, Sinead posted an open letter on her website to the singer. While she was kind, she took a few jabs at Miley, saying that she was “allowing herself to be exploited.”On Oct. 3, Miley fired back on Twitter, posting a screengrab of a series of tweets (that actually aren’t from Sinead’s real account), referring to Sinead as a modern-day Amanda Bynes:
Shortly after, Miley wrote, “#SNL,” with a photo of Sinead famously ripping up the photo of the Pope when she appeared on Saturday Night Live over 20 years ago.
Was she trying to prove a point? On Oct. 5, Miley will be hosting SNL — so did she just get yet another thing to make fun of?
